The Chase Line – Voluntary Community Station Partnership
Welcome to the Chase Line, a voluntary Community Station Partnership (CSP) created to inspire local people to adopt their railway stations, working with neighbours, friends and the Train Operating Company to develop their stations as community assets, bringing people together, enhancing the passenger experience and encourage more rail travel along the Chase Line.
Community Station Partnership
We are a volunteer-led community partnership, investing our time and enthusiasm to enhance five local stations; Landywood, Cannock, Hednesford, Rugeley Town & Rugeley Trent Valley.
We aim to help underpin the national efforts to restore confidence in rail and attract visitors to the region. The Chase Line CSP is about delivering public benefit. Our mission is to work with the Train Operating Companies, Network Rail and other regional partners to help make our stations more relevant to the locality, more passenger-centric and welcoming to visitors by providing a greater amenity and wellbeing.
Hednesford Station has the highest number of community volunteers in the West Midlands network and their endeavours at the station are greatly appreciated by the train operating company, Network Rail, passengers and local people alike.
The Chase Line CSP is about delivering Social Value.
The Chair of the CSP works tirelessly to deliver upgrades at local stations while connecting local people to the railways. Working with schools, community groups, councils and local businesses, the CSP is the champion for rail revival in the local area.
